The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by Chris White.

Attendance was called by the secretary.

Rebecca Taylor spoke on behalf of the American Heart Association, reminding members to focus on heart disease and the different campaigns they have during the month of February.

The first order of business was the Treasurer’s Report, presented by Michelle Robinson.

Rebecca Franke spoke on changing some aspects of the charity event. Some ideas discussed by members were:

• Honor a family/organization in Harlingen that has made a difference in the community.
• More bodies-more people to bid on auction items.
• Must be Harlingen.
• Larger committee
• Later in the year-more time to find auction items.
• Better entertainment.

Ginger Armstrong spoke about the upcoming Attic Sale:

• Saturday, February 26th 8:00am-12:00pm
• Drop off date are Sat. Feb. 12th and Sat. Feb. 19th
• Please sign up for a Friday, February 25th shift (the evening before the sale).
  Reminder to all members to bring their items labeled to one of the drop-off dates.

Stacey Scoggins spoke regarding the yearbook and any changes and additions that need to be made. Also, please inform Stacey of any changes of members who have gone sustaining.

Lisa Guererro spoke on placement for league for the 2005-2006 year. Please start thinking about what placement would interest you. The Placement Fair will be held at the February meeting.
