| 3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 (14-oz) can condensed milk
1 (12-oz) can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Fill a broiler pan with water and place on bottom
shelf of oven. Heat oven to 350°. In a saucepan, over medium
heat, heat sugar while stirring constantly until it reaches a carmel
color. In blender, add eggs, both cans of milk and vanilla. Pour
sugar mixture into flan pan, followed immediately by milk mixture.
(This is crucial!) Blend. Place pan on upper shelf of oven and bake
for 25-30 minutes. Cook until almost firm and brown on top. Let
cool for about 10 minutes. Use rubber spatula and loosen around
all sides. Flip it over onto serving platter and chill.
